3560 Delaware Street, Suite 501, Beaumont, TX, 77706
I have always been drawn to massage since I was a child. I remember when my cousins slept over we would sleep head to toe and rub each other's feet till we fell asleep. In high school, I would give shoulder massages to my friends before important tests. Today, I’m living my dream. I still can't believe I'm getting paid for this. I graduated from massage therapy school in Sept 2012. I have worked at several full service spas in Beaumont and Bridge City, and then decided it was time to work for myself in 2016. I am now looking forward to this new location and grateful to be working alongside Barbara White and so many educated, compassionate Therapists. There are so many types of massage out there, but I specialize in relaxation massage to help my clients unwind and forget about the weight of the world for a while. I know there is no single type of massage that works for everyone, so I continue to educate myself on therapies that benefit my clientele. I tailor each session to my client's needs. My approach to massage is integrative, combining various therapeutic techniques to specifically address areas of concern, increase mobility, and promote relaxation. I also offer deep/specific work catered to my client’s areas of concern to help them heal, while still providing an enjoyable, relaxing massage, My goal is to build camaraderie with my clients and other massage therapists so that I can become the best massage therapist I can be. My free time is filled with crafting such as crocheting, sewing, and listening to audiobooks. I also love spending time with my children and grandchild.
Massage
Smooth stones are heated and then lubricated with oil or essential oils, the therapeutic effects of heat are used to relax muscles more deeply. Used as an extension of the therapist’s hands, the use of massage stones induces deep relaxation and provides a unique experience many find to be tremendously calming and centering.
Lymphatic Drainage
Ultrasound used as needed. Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a very gentle maneuver that helps to direct lymphatic fluid towards the lymph nodes and blood stream. The lymphatic system is part of our circulatory and immune system that moves cell debris, dead cells, protein, long chain fatty acids, toxins 30-60 times faster than the body is able to do on it's own. The goal of this service is to remove swelling without disrupting the healing tissues speeding recovery and improving outcome.
