Dr. Sara-Maude Demers is originally from Quebec, Canada. She started her studies in Kinesiology at McGill University. During her studies she worked in a chiropractic clinic as an assistant where she discovered her passion for chiropractic. She decided to change paths and chase her dream career. Dr. Sara graduated from the New York Chiropractic College (now known as Northeast College of Health Sciences) in 2019. During her studies, she was awarded scholarships for academic excellence, and was a member of the Phi Chi Omega Honour Society. Dr. Sara takes pride in the amount of attention and quality of care that she gives to her patients. She has a passion for pediatrics and women’s health, with a particular interest in perinatal and postpartum care. As a member of the International Pediatric Association (ICPA), she is pursuing advanced training in pediatrics and perinatal care, including the Webster certification. She is also completing a Sacro-Occipital Technique pediatric certificate program with Peak Potential Institute, and has a certification in postpartum rehabilitation care from GROWCO. Dr. Sara enjoys spending time with her family, playing soccer and volleyball, and spending time outdoors.
