I have always been an active and competitive person. Growing up, I competed in the American Quarter Horse Association for 4 years. Through high school and college, I was a member of dance teams, which provided me with experiences competing on a national and local level, as well as being involved in the basketball spirit squad and local community appearances and charity events. I coached the North Georgia College and State University dance team for 2 years after that. I also ran the 400 and 4x4 events in track for a few years in high school. I have completed a half marathon, competed in several Crossfit competitions and was State Champion in Olympic Weightlifting in 2022 and record holder for the snatch in the same year. After graduating with my Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise and Sport Science from North Georgia College and State University in 2009, I moved to Portland, Oregon to attend University of Western States, where I earned a second Bachelor of Science in Biology, a Master’s in Exercise and Sport Science, and a Doctorate of Chiropractic Medicine.
