Carrington Lauzon is a Registered Massage Therapist at Beach Chiropractic and Wellness Centre. She has been practicing since 2013 and continues to enjoy helping people with pain management, rehabilitation and overall health. An open mind and curiosity encourage her to frequently learn new things about the human body, and this helps to provide an alternative and evidence based approach to health care for her clients. She has extra studies in Cupping, Myofascial and DermoNeuro systems of the body and has taken interest in the connection of TMJ dysfunction to head, neck and jaw pain. Carrington enjoys providing massage therapy for the wide variety of benefits; from treating chronic and acute soft tissue injuries to reducing anxiety and stress related tension. Her approach is goal oriented to provide pain relief, reduce muscle tension, increase mobility and enhance wellbeing. Carrington also enjoys educating clients on self-care management strategies. Registered Massage Therapists are more than just hands on health care professionals. RMT’s can also advise their clients on proper ergonomics at home and at work, tips to improve posture, and provide stretching and strengthening exercises to help improve their condition. Carrington has a special interest in overuse and postural conditions, TMJ dysfunction and shoulder conditions. She has embraced the South Georgian Bay lifestyle and enjoys various activities such as hiking, paddling, rock climbing and mountain biking. She is also passionate about nature connection and is involved in volunteering and educating people on land stewardship and our ecological web of life, vegetable and pollinator gardening, bird watching and wild edible food foraging. She also enjoys the arts culture and loves painting, crafting, and photography. Carrington enjoys being a part of the team at Beach Chiropractic and providing Massage Therapy to the Wasaga Beach community. Her experience treating a variety of conditions with a diverse population will allow her to create individualized plans to ensure effective outcomes and get her clients feeling better, moving better and getting more active.
