Anita Smith

I received a Masters of Acupuncture degree at Maryland University of Integrative Health in Laurel, Maryland. Prior to this I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia. I practice Classical and 5 Element Acupuncture as well as Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture. I have completed specialized training in treating womens health issues, including fertility treatments and pre/postnatal care. I am also a certified Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist, meaning I am qualified to support people recovering from various addictions. Personally, I have always been drawn to holistic forms of medicine where I felt like I was treated as a person, rather than a set of symptoms. I carry an appreciation for relationship-centered care into my role as acupuncturist, and I will partner with you on your journey to feeling better and living your life more fully. I am constantly amazed by the depth and power of this medicine, and I am excited to share these possibilities with you.
