Kristen earned her Massage Therapy License from Avalon School of Massage in Houston, Texas in 2008, while also attending the University of Houston for a Bachelors of Music. She has taught K-5th grade general music for the last 15 years, while casually doing massage work for friends and family. She moved back to massage therapy full-time and enjoys using a blend of Swedish, deep tissue, and trigger point. She particularly likes giving longer massages where she can focus on alleviating her client's problem areas, and still gets time for a head-to-toe relaxation. She can vary from a feather touch to intense pressure and likes blending therapeutic techniques to get the best results for her clients. Kristen takes snoring on the massage table as a compliment if her client is relaxed enough to drift to sleep!
