In 1986 Cathy graduated with an Honours Degree in Kinesiology at University of Waterloo. In the years that followed, she furthered her knowledge gaining certifications as a Massage Therapist , NASM Personal Trainer , Certified Fitness Appraiser and Fitness /Spinning / Pilates Instructor. Her work experience included various settings: • as a Rehabilitation Kinesiologist in private physiotherapy clinics, • as a Fitness Director at a Tennis and Racquet Clubs, • Freelance Personal Trainer, • and as a Massage Therapist and owner of Living Fit a Spinning and Pilates studio. After years of helping people of all ages recover their ability to move better and improve their health Cathy expanded her skills and knowledge and studied the art of Osteopathy at the CAO in Hamilton and graduated as a Manual Osteopathic Practitioner in 2013. Cathy’s post graduate studies have focused on Pain management, Post Traumatic Stress, and Paediatrics. Combining a passive and active approach Cathy has created a treatment approach that is unique. Using her sensitivity of touch as an Osteopathic Practitioner with over 20 years of teaching movement Cathy’s approaches her work with integrity and reverence to the wholeness of each patient.
