I have had the privilege of being a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) for over 20 years in the State of Pennsylvania. Prior to opening Philadelphia Lymph & Bodywork, I worked exclusively with oncology and lymphedema patients from all walks of life, helping them create a new normal, manage difficult realities, and find calmness for even just a moment. I have maintained my Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) credential for more than a decade through Dr. Vodder School International, a provider of the original Dr. Vodder method of Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Combined Decongestive Therapy. As a partner in my clients' wellness journeys, I provide customized massage and MLD treatments to help them relax their bodies, calm their minds, and feel restored for better health.
Massage
This treatment promotes relaxation, eases muscle tension, and supports overall wellness by combining traditional massage techniques with the restorative technology of the FDA-approved amethyst Biomat. Choose from three tailored approaches: Traditional (effleurage, friction, trigger point therapy, and soft-tissue manipulation), Modified (optional clothed session for elderly or medically-sensitive clients), or Medical (oncology massage).
Lymphatic Drainage
MLD uses gentle, rhythmic strokes to stimulate lymph flow, reduce swelling, support immune function, and promote overall wellness — making it ideal before and after cosmetic surgery, to manage lymphedema, and support general rejuvenation. Sessions are enhanced by the Biomat's far infrared heat and amethyst crystals, which promote deep relaxation and optimal lymphatic flow. Biomat use will be evaluated upon review of intake form.
