A Lethbridge Alberta native, Dr. McDowall completed her post secondary education at the University of Lethbridge where she earned her Bachelor of Science / Co-op in Biochemistry. While at the U of L she enjoyed five years of playing varsity soccer. She then completed the four year diploma program at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College to become a Doctor of Chiropractic. Leslie is a certified provider of Active Release Technique (ART) and a certified provider of the Graston Technique. She has experience treating people of all athletic abilities, including members of the Canadian and US Olympic bobsled teams, Canadian National and Olympic freestyle ski teams, Olympic speed skaters, Olympic swimmers, professional football players, professional snowboarders, professional dancers, professional hockey players and numerous marathoners and Ironman triathletes to name a few. She is currently a member of the College of Chiropractors of Ontario, the Ontario Chiropractic Association, the College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences and the International Federation of Sports Chiropractic (FICS). Previously, Dr. McDowall was the clinic director for Meditech International’s Bioflex laser clinics. Working closely with Dr. Fred Kahn, the developer of the Bioflex laser system, she was regularly invited to speak to medical doctors, chiropractors and physiotherapists about the application of the Bioflex system.
