Dr. Adam Blanchard, originally from a small town in Newfoundland and Labrador, completed his Bachelor of Kinesiology at Memorial University. Following his undergraduate degree, he moved to Toronto to pursue his Doctor of Chiropractic at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College where he graduated in 2023. Even as a student, he was always in pursuit of finding the best treatment options for patients. This led him to complete the Contemporary Medical Acupuncture program at McMaster University. Upon graduation, he moved to Peterborough, ON to pursue his chiropractic passion and start to build roots in Peterborough with his girlfriend whom he met at chiropractic college. Dr. Blanchard employs a patient-centered approach to health care. He has a wide array of hands-on techniques at his disposal including adjustments, mobilizations, soft tissue therapy and electroacupuncture. He has a special interest in treating nerve related conditions, with additional training in Clinical Neurodynamics. He also has a passion for active living and athletics with extra training in functional range conditioning and movement assessment, which he uses to both get to the root of and solve movement related problems in active individuals. Outside of the clinic you can catch him at the crossfit gym, backcountry canoe camping, fly fishing, snowboarding, travelling all over the world and spending time with family.
