Registered Massage Therapist. Genevieve completed her massage therapy program in Ottawa, Ontario in 2010. Her treatment philosophy is focused on patient-centered care. She has advanced training in sports massage, myo-fascial release and pregnancy massage. Genevieve has taken additional courses in Functional Patterns training methodology and holds a level 2 human biomechanics certification. She also possesses extensive experience with post-surgical joint replacement patients, acute sports injuries, chronic pain, and autoimmune conditions. She has worked for Athletics Canada supporting Canada’s Olympic, Paralympic, and National track and field team that trains in Victoria. The majority of her time with the team, involved supporting the wheelchair sprinters. The clinic space is fully accessible for wheelchairs. She also enjoys and has extensive experience working with pregnancy, autoimmune issues, and patients ranging in age from baby to the geriatric. Her goals are to help her patients understand the root cause of their issues and support them in their path towards functionality and a pain free lifestyle.
