Dr. Lara Thomas is a chiropractor from Portland, Oregon that strives to meet patients where they’re at and work with them to reach their wellness goals. She believes in helping people find joyful movement that elevates their quality of life. Recognizing that each individual has unique health goals, she will collaborate with you to create a personalized treatment plan using evidence based techniques. Patients can expect a thorough assessment coupled with treatment which may include a combination of diversified chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue modalities, rehabilitative exercises and patient education. She studied Psychology at Seattle University before attending University of Western States to earn her Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Dr. Lara is certified in Active Release Techniques (ART) and has training in IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization), Kinesiology taping and McKenzie technique. She actively participates in continuing education in order to stay up to date on the latest advancements in chiropractic care. In her spare time she enjoys walking and running her dog Floyd, playing volleyball and tennis and baking. She coaches volleyball at Jefferson High School and likes volunteering at the humane society.
