Scott uses a full body, integrated approach to assessment and treatment. He uses a full body movement screen (SFMA), thorough history, palpation, and Neurokinetic Therapy to find the origin of pain rather than just treat the symptoms. Scott is genuinely intrigued by the complexity of the body, how it moves, and why we have pain. He loves inspiring change and helping people get the results they deserve. Our habits (good and bad) shape our bodies and how they function. Previous injuries, surgeries and scars create compensation patterns that may not be evident until many years later. Scott believes in a hands-on approach to treatment. His treatment sessions utilize various soft tissue techniques (including fascial release), joint mobilization, muscle activation/re-training, education and lifestyle modification. The goal of treatment sessions are to reduce pain, improve movement patterns, and most importantly, educate and empower a better understanding of your body as it relates to pain and dysfunction. Scott graduated from the University of Toronto with a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy. He is constantly seeking out continuing education opportunities to grow his skill set and clinical knowledge. He is particularly interested in finding solutions to chronic problems, treating vestibular issues (dizziness, vertigo), improving quality of life and exercise performance.
