David Murray is an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner and Certified Athletic Therapist with over 28 years of clinical and field experience. He currently treats a full caseload of patients of all ages with a variety of physical disorders and impairments. David began his post-secondary education at Western University, where he received a degree in Physical Education. He also completed post-graduate Masters of Science degree in Kinesiology from McMaster University, postgraduate diplomas in Athletic Therapy from Sheridan College, where he graduated with high honours, and Osteopathic Manual Practice from the Canadian College of Osteopathy. With his Osteopathic and Masters studies, David focused his research on blood flow in individuals with spinal cord injuries. Currently, David continues to advance his knowledge and skills through further post-graduate studies in Clinical Neuroscience. In addition to clinic life at the Toronto Rock Sports Medicine & Wellness Centre, David was a member of the Sport Medicine Team at McMaster University from 1997 – 2023, working as a clinical practitioner, field therapist, and student supervisor. David’s lacrosse experience has extended to the professional and international level, serving as a member of the Sports Medicine Teams for Toronto Rock Lacrosse as well as Team Canada at the 2002 & 2006 Men’s World Field Lacrosse Championships, the 2003 Men’s World Indoor Lacrosse Championship, and the 2022 Men’s U21 World Field Lacrosse Championships.
