Hi, Im Mariela licensed massage therapist, Reiki Master, and intuitive healer. I specialize in blending bodywork and energy healing to support nervous system regulation, integration, and whole-self wellness. I hold a double bachelors degree in Biological Anthropology and Religious Studies from the University of Pittsburgh. My lifelong curiosity about the body, spirit, and human experience has led me through many pathsincluding neuroscience research, archaeology, and ecological designbefore finding my calling in hands-on healing. I began my Reiki journey in 2020 and received my Master attunement in 2023. Though I hold the title of Master, I continue to walk the path of the student. Im currently apprenticing with two Reiki teachers, collaborating with fellow practitioners, and regularly sharing insight with a trusted Reiki sister. I'm also studying intuitive energy healing under the guidance of an international psychic based in Australia, expanding my connection to subtle energy work. Originally from Pittsburgh, I now call Chattanooga homea place that has gifted me community, connection, and inspiration. Outside the treatment room, youll find me hiking local trails, tending plants, listening to live music, fishing, paddling, swimming in creeks, and spending time with my husband and our four beloved cat companions.
