As a teenager, Moraine sprained her ankle while training to compete nationally in synchronized swimming. The physiotherapists who helped her understand her injury and get back into the pool inspired her to pursue a career in the same field. She completed her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science at the University of Alabama and went on to complete her Masters in Physiotherapy at UBC. She is also certified in GunnIMS. Moraine has been working with the UpLevel team since 2013. Moraine incorporates education, manual therapy, IMS and active rehabilitation to enable her patients to understand their condition and become an active participant in their treatment, recovery, and prevention of recurring injuries. Moraine stays active chasing after her two energetic kids and loves to spend time outdoors hiking, swimming and cycling.
