Alafyah earned her Master’s in Physical Therapy from the University of Brighton in England, where she gained a strong academic foundation alongside a global perspective on healthcare. Her diverse clinical experiences across Canada, the UK, and Africa have fuelled her passion for empowering and supporting patients in achieving meaningful, long-term outcomes. As a Physiotherapist specializing in Pelvic Health, Alafyah provides individualized, evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s unique needs and goals. Her clinical practice encompasses the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, chronic pain, and activity-related injuries, with a specialised focus on women’s pelvic health. She supports women through pregnancy and postpartum recovery and provides care for pelvic floor dysfunction, urinary and bowel concerns, pelvic pain, and a range of other health concerns across the lifespan. Alafyah takes a holistic and patient-centred approach to rehabilitation, combining manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, pelvic floor rehabilitation, and education to help patients better understand their bodies and recovery. She prioritizes creating a safe, supportive, and collaborative environment where patients feel empowered to take an active role in their health and regain confidence in their movement. She is passionate about lifelong learning and continually expanding her clinical knowledge to provide thoughtful, evidence-based care. Alafyah is committed to helping her patients achieve meaningful, sustainable outcomes and feel confident throughout their rehabilitation journey. Outside of the clinic, Alafyah enjoys spending time outdoors, whether it’s hiking in nature, practising yoga, or travelling to explore new cultures and cuisines. She is fluent in Hindi and Urdu.
