Dr. Chris Cheung is a Registered Chiropractor in good standing with the College of Chiropractors of Ontario. He is also a member of the Ontario Chiropractic Association (OCA) & the Canadian Chiropractic Association (CCA). In practice, he uses joint manipulations/mobilizations, active and passive soft tissue techniques, electroacupuncture, rehabilitation exercises, recommendation/dispensing of assistive devices, and patient education to improve function and quality of life. Education Dr. Cheung has obtained Honours Bachelor and Master of Science degrees from York University in Kinesiology and Health Science. During his undergrad, he concurrently completed the certificate stream for specialized education in Fitness Appraisal and Exercise Counselling. Following his graduate studies, he obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic through the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. As a complement to his chiropractic education, Dr. Cheung has also completed the Clinical Acupuncture Program at the CMCC. Career Dr. Cheung has 10 years of experience working with a variety of patient populations including motor vehicle accident rehabilitation, work place injuries (WSIB), extended health and private care. He has worked with seniors, athletes, weekend warriors, office and essential service workers. Dr. Cheung is focused on functional outcomes of care that are important to the patient and seeks to improve the wellness of each patient as a whole being. For new patients who have not seen the Chiropractor in the past. This entails a comprehensive health history, history of the primary complaint or injury, a physical examination, a diagnosis and a treatment plan. Treatment is typically provided during the initial visit.
