Tyler is a Physiotherapist with a passion for empowering patients to become independent in their recovery through evidence-based, multi-modal care, with a strong emphasis on exercise, strength training, and manual therapy. A proud Nova Scotian, Tyler completed his education in Halifax, Nova Scotia, earning a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University, following bachelor’s degrees in both Kinesiology and Psychology. He is passionate about bridging the gap between rehabilitation, injury prevention, and performance training for both sport and everyday life. Tyler has a particular professional interest in strength and conditioning, having worked with professional, Olympic, and Paralympic athletes at the Canadian Sport Institute Atlantic. He has earned his designation as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). He has completed post-graduate training in advanced physiotherapy techniques, including dry needling, sport, and concussion care, and is currently completing his Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Certification. This certification evaluates golfers’ physical limitations and correlates findings with swing mechanics to guide targeted treatment and performance-based rehabilitation for golfers of all skill levels. In addition to his clinical work, Tyler previously worked full-time in professional soccer as Head Physiotherapist for HFX Wanderers FC, overseeing medical care and rehabilitation for the team both at home and while travelling across Canada. New to West Kelowna, Tyler has fallen in love with the mountains and natural beauty of British Columbia. He looks forward to exploring BC’s interior through hiking, trail running, and improving his ski skills. A competitive table tennis athlete with national medals, Tyler also enjoys other racket sports, golf, soccer, and strength training. He lives to make the most of the landscapes that inspired his move west.
