I approach my work as a manual therapist by bearing witness to the life stories that our bodies hold. I listen with my hands and respond to what the tissues tell me — an art form I will be developing for the rest of my life. I bring a curiosity to each session about the mechanics of our bodies’ expressions of pain, discomfort, wellness and ease. My assessment is an ongoing process informed by oral and somatic query. I will continue learning and bringing new techniques and perspectives to the treatment table based on what is indicated in our session. I enjoy working with folks of all ages and walks of life. I completed my RMT training at Langara College, which focused on Swedish massage, myofascial release, trigger point release, neuromuscular techniques, sports massage, abdominal massage, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitated stretching, neurological ROODs techniques, and foundations in visceral manipulation. At the moment, I’m training in osteopathic cranial sacral therapy and have specific interests in TMJ issues and headaches. Beyond any technique or training, listening to you forms the basis of the work we’ll do together. If you need to get in touch with me directly please email: [email protected] Please note, e-transfer is my preferred method of payment.
