Emma’s path into physiotherapy was shaped by her own experience as an international athlete — working closely with physios on the sidelines gave her a firsthand appreciation of the impact great rehabilitation can have. Emma’s approach is holistic and empathetic — she believes in empowering her patients with tools and knowledge needed to truly understand their injury and build a comprehensive recovery plan with future prevention in mind. After graduating from King’s College London School of Medicine in 2010, Emma built a broad clinical foundation within the UK’s National Health Service, gaining extensive experience across musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, cardiorespiratory, and neurological conditions. Alongside her NHS work, she served as a Physiotherapist for various sports teams, deepening her passion for sport and performance. Prior to moving to Canada, Emma specialised in neurological, vestibular, and complex multi-system diagnoses across various clinical settings, treating patients from 0 to 100 in all shapes and sizes, from elite UK athletes to those rebuilding their independence after complex hospital stays. Emma moved to Revelstoke for the mountains and outdoor lifestyle. Emma has added paediatric expertise to her practice, working as a child and infant development consultant locally. She also works part time as a paediatric physiotherapist in Salmon Arm. Outside the clinic, Emma can be found exploring everything the outdoors has to offer alongside her young family.
