Colin has completed his electrical apprenticeship at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) and is also a graduate of Vancouver College of Massage Therapy (VCMT) in December 2017. With a recreational background and specialized interests in physical and mental health sciences, such as: physical/weight or resistance training, nutrition, well-being, and self-awareness, >Colin decided to enroll in massage therapy as a start to pursue his passion with the human body and assist people with acute, chronic, and everyday concerns efficiently and effectively in a safe and comfortable environment. Colin’s education at VCMT has provided him with the skills and knowledge to assess and treat many conditions. He is trained with techniques that include: Swedish massage, myofascial release, trigger point release, active/dynamic and passive release, point pressure release, joint mobilizations, and instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM). Many of these techniques are personally tailored by using controlled gradual pressure to specific and precise areas of intention.
