Jaw & Facial Tension Release / Intra Oral / Buccal Massage
New PatientLicensedGeneralTMJ

A focused session for the face, head, neck, and jaw — designed for those experiencing TMJ pain, jaw tension, tension headaches, eye strain from staring at screens all day, sinus pressure, and the chronic clench so many of us carry without noticing. Your therapist will assess the holding patterns creating your tension and draw from their own toolkit to release them. Sessions may include myofascial and somatic work, somatic buccal and intraoral massage, and craniosacral therapy. Depending on what your body is asking for and in conversation with you, your therapist may also incorporate gua sha, facial cupping, lymphatic drainage, hot towels, and cold therapy. This work also softens and sculpts the face by releasing the muscular tension we hold in our jaw, brow, and around the eyes. Many clients notice their face feels lighter, looks more relaxed, and carries less of the visible weight of stress.
