Henry is a Registered Acupuncturist and Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner in good standing with the CTCMPAO. Inspired by his mother—a respected TCM ophthalmologist in China with over 35 years of clinical experience—Henry continues a family tradition grounded in holistic healing and patient-centered care. He completed formal training in Traditional Chinese Medicine at the Toronto School of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TSTCM) and has been actively involved in both clinical practice and acupuncture education. His approach integrates classical theory with modern clinical application, allowing him to deliver focused and effective treatments. Henry’s clinical work centers on pain management, neurological conditions, and women’s health. He has experience supporting patients with conditions such as trigeminal neuralgia, fibromyalgia, sciatica, temporomandibular joint disorders (TMJ/TMD), menstrual irregularities, fertility concerns, and sleep-related conditions. He incorporates a range of established acupuncture approaches, including Applied Channel Theory, Master Tung’s Acupuncture, and Balance Method Acupuncture. When appropriate, he also integrates cupping, gua sha, and tuina to create a well-rounded and individualized treatment plan. In the treatment room, Henry is known for his precise and refined technique. He uses a minimal number of needles and focuses on achieving effective results with controlled, comfortable stimulation. His treatments are designed to be both clinically effective and physically at ease for the patient. Prior to his medical training, Henry earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in History from Queen’s University. His academic background supports a thoughtful, patient-centered approach, allowing him to better understand individual needs across diverse backgrounds.
To ensure your safety and achieve the best possible results, a comprehensive assessment is required if more than six months have passed since your last treatment. This means that after six months, an initial assessment will need to be conducted again. The consultation and assessment may take 15mins-30mins or more, rest of the time will be acupuncture treatment.
