Dr. Daniela Escudero received her Bachelor of Science from Skidmore College and received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Dominican College in Rockland County. Daniela’s interest in orthopedics stemmed from a background in kinesiology while performing movement analyses on college athletes. This interest has evolved throughout the years and has lead her to perform biomechanical and functional movement assessments to determine the true source of an individual’s symptoms. She uses manual therapy and targeted exercises to retrain the areas that are eliciting symptoms, in order to get individuals back to their true potential. Daniela also has a deep interest in Pelvic Floor Health and has pursued further training with the Herman and Wallace Institute Pelvic Floor Institute. She has found that pelvic health and orthopedic conditions have a symbiotic relationship, and treating both can be mutually beneficial for a wide range of individuals. Additionally, Daniela is also a teaching assistant at her former graduate school. She is currently teaching courses centered around motor learning, neurological conditions, and the spine.
