Dr. Alexandra Sisam is a trauma-informed, evidence- based Naturopathic Doctor who has been in practice since 2018. She has a passion for understanding and supporting the way that our nervous system is integrated into our overall health, wellbeing and imbalances. From disordered eating to PMDD, her practice focuses on the interaction between our nervous system and our physical body. This includes postpartum depression, PMDD, PTSD, anxiety, depression, ADHD and post concussion syndrome. She has a special interest in eating disorders, and the way that trauma manifests in the body. “Our bodies are so much more than they appear. They are an interconnected landscape of our thoughts, emotions, experiences, interactions and all of the physical parts of us that make us into one human being, As cliché as it sounds we as human beings are so much more than meets the eye. Seeing us as connected instead of separate is one of the most powerful tools in fostering space for our own healing. I work to support the mind, and body in order to provide the most comprehensive and compassionate care. This includes modalities such as - IV therapy - acupuncture - mind body counselling - botanicals - supplements - nutrition I am constantly learning about the interconnectedness of these parts of the human being and using them to treat both physical and emotional conditions.
