Dave’s work is focused on facilitating the body’s own abilities to regenerate and heal. Whether treating acute injuries or chronic pain, he takes a nervous system-first approach to promote an embodied context of relaxation and safety before employing targeted, deep-tissue techniques to encourage injured or chronically guarded tissues to release. Dave’s own history with chronic pain conditions makes him sensitive to the unique challenges they present and to how much positive change is possible. His work aims to help clients find more embodied ease, comfort and peace in their daily life. Outside of work, Dave spends his time cooking for loved ones, taking long walks through his neighborhood, meditating, playing music and yapping with his friends on the phone.
