Jimmy is a Registered Kinesiologist with over 9 years of knowledge and practical experience in the field of sports physical rehabilitation, physical therapy, and kinesio-therapy. He has worked with many types of athletes, ranging from the developing youth to professional level athletes within their respective sports. He currently serves as one of the official sports therapists for the Ontario Blue Jays. Outside of athletes, he also has a special interest in working with people who have unresolved issues of chronic pain. Jimmy received his clinical Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from D’Youville College in the United States in 2014. His international clinical experiences have given him the opportunity to learn and work with physical therapists who were experts in their respective fields ranging from manual therapy, chronic pain, orthopaedics, neurological rehabilitation, and sports medicine. His treatment philosophy is based on his understanding of the “adaptability and connectedness” of the body as a whole. Jimmy effectively uses education, “hands-on” manual therapy, movement, and strength conditioning principles to create an empowering state for the human body to heal, recalibrate, and perform. His treatments are evidence-based and progressive to ensure results. During Jimmy’s spare time, he enjoys exercising, learning, travelling, films, music, and hanging out with his dog.
