Alessandro Rosatelli is a Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapist with 30 years of experience in orthopaedics, spinal rehabilitation, and sports physiotherapy. He holds degrees in Human Biology and Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto, a Master of Manipulative Physiotherapy from the University of Queensland, and a PhD in Anatomy from the University of Toronto. His doctoral research focused on the structure, function, and innervation of the lumbar spine muscles, with his work published in the peer-reviewed journal Clinical Anatomy. Alessandro has served in a clinical leadership role within a multidisciplinary physiotherapy practice, managing complex spinal, sports, and post-operative conditions while mentoring clinicians and students. He is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapists (FCAMT), credentialed with the McKenzie Institute International (Cred. MDT), and certified through the UBC Faculty of Medicine to perform Gunn IMS dry needling (CGIMS). His additional training includes Brian Mulligan's Mobilization with Movement concept, anatomical acupuncture, therapeutic taping, and more than 20 years of experience prescribing custom orthotics and braces. Committed to lifelong learning, Alessandro has recently completed the McGill Method certification (Levels 1–3) with renowned spine researcher Dr. Stuart McGill, advanced hip and groin coursework with Dr. Alison Grimaldi, and introductory musculoskeletal ultrasound training. A longtime postgraduate educator, he has taught advanced manual therapy courses to physiotherapists across Ontario, including as an instructor with APTEI. His special interests include lumbosacral disorders and foot and ankle dysfunction. Outside the clinic, Alessandro stays active through regular walking and weight training and has a background in Muay Thai. He enjoys cooking for family and friends and is fluent in Italian.

Your comprehensive assessment is designed for first-time patients as well as existing patients who are either presenting with a new issue or haven’t visited us in over six months. During your appointment, you will gain valuable insights into your diagnosis, prognosis, and any additional tests and/or investigations that may be necessary. Our goal is to provide you with tailored treatment strategies that meet your specific needs. *Please note that we currently do not accept physiotherapy cases related to Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA) or Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) claims.* Our Chiropractor, Dr. Girdler handles these cases.
