Amy is a board-certified Licensed Acupuncturist and a certified yoga therapist. She uses the rich tradition of East Asian medicine, current research, plus over a decade of experience in yoga therapy, to inform her clinical practice. Amy works at the intersection of physical and emotional pain, recognizing that no symptom exists in isolation. The mind and the body are not divisible, nor are we as individuals separate from the communities and systems that surround us. Amy has a passion for making integrative health both accessible and equitable. At the heart of Amy’s work is the recognition that all of us wish to be free from suffering and to reach our fullest state of joy and well-being. Amy works in partnership with patients, to support each person’s unique goals and strengths. In addition to being a clinician, Amy is a mom of two who loves hanging out with her family, moving her body in all kinds of ways, reading nerdy books, and exploring Portland’s fantastic food scene.
