Mackenzie was born and raised in Saint John and has lived in the Quispamsis area for a few years. Mackenzie grew up a competitive gymnast which lead her to an interest in Athletic Therapy. Mackenzie received her bachelor of science from UNBSJ and then went on to complete her bachelor of applied health science – Athletic Therapy at Sheridan College in Ontario. As an Athletic Therapist Mackenzie enjoys working with athletes of all ages and sporting backgrounds. While in Ontario Mackenzie worked with many different sport organizations and teams including the Oakville Soccer Club, Brock University Rugby and Wrestling, and the Ottawa Redblacks. After completing her education at Sheridan College Mackenzie returned to the Maritimes and took a position as the Head Athletic Therapist for St. Thomas University. Outside of the office Mackenzie enjoys spending time with family, hiking and traveling.

Initial Assessment - Athletic Therapy

The Athletic Therapy assessment involves a 1-hour one-on-one history and biomechanical evaluation with an Athletic Therapist on our Rehab1 Team. This allows us the time to a develop a clear picture of your current condition and help us provide you with the proper treatment plan.
