Amanda found her passion for massage therapy after sustaining a motor vehicle accident and undergoing extensive injury rehabilitation. From this experience, she understood how important a team of motivated practitioners are to a patient’s recovery. Amanda graduated from Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy in 2018 with a passion for human anatomy. Amanda has experience treating chronic headaches, stress/anxiety, upper cross syndrome, tendonitis, arthritis and postural dysfunction caused by compensatory habits. She is trained in various massage techniques including lymphatic drainage, pregnancy massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, deep tissue and Swedish massage. Amanda’s style of treatment is a deep tissue focus, while adapting to the patient’s needs and requests to achieve full relaxation. She takes pride in creating a safe and comfortable space for all. She is also continuously learning to advance her skills in providing high-quality treatments to assist patients in reaching their wellness goals. In her spare time you can catch Amanda with a microphone in hand singing her favourite karaoke jams, spending time outdoors and staying active.
