KC’s journey into physiotherapy began through her own experiences as a competitive softball athlete, where she developed a strong appreciation for movement, recovery, and rehabilitation. In her practice, KC combines manual therapy, customized exercise programs, and client education to help individuals achieve their goals and enhance their overall quality of life. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology at the University of Western Ontario, followed by a Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto. Her dedication to ongoing learning reflects her belief in the evolving nature of physiotherapy and the importance of staying up-to-date with best practices. When she’s not working with clients, KC enjoys spending time outdoors and caring for her ever-growing plant collection.

Initial Physiotherapy Assessment & Treatment

During your initial session of physiotherapy, you will be conducting a comprehensive physical evaluation. This will help medical professionals determine the structural source of your musculoskeletal pain complaint and create a diagnostic framework for providing a treatment plan for pain relief. During the exercise portion of the evaluation, the physiotherapist will perform a hands-on evaluation of the affected area, and you will answer some questions about your pain history.
