Lael came to massage therapy after a career in the arts and a long time as a stay-at-home mom. She enjoys helping people and wanted a career that could make the world a nicer place in a tangible way. One powerful lesson she learned from parenting is that in order to best serve her family she had to take care of herself. In service of that idea, regular massage therapy became a part of her own routine. When the time came to consider a career pivot it was an exciting opportunity to contribute something positive to her community, one person at a time. She has extensive training in several modalities including Swedish, neuromuscular, deep tissue, sports and chair massage. Her passion lies in helping parents and other caregivers take time for themselves and in making massage as accessible as possible to a wide range of people.
