Progression Muscle, Bone and Joint Clinic
3411 31 Ave, Vernon, BC, V1T 2H6
Joseph graduated from the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy in 2025 with honours in Clinical Excellence. He is currently continuing his studies towards the Bachelor of Health Science through TRU’s Open Learning program. Joseph’s approach to treatment relies on assessment and orthopaedic testing to understand the root cause of his patients’ dysfunction. He uses a variety of deep tissue, trigger point, stretching, and joint mobilization techniques. He is also certified in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, which involves the use of small handheld tools. One of his main goals as a massage therapist is to encourage his patients to be proactive with their health. He aims to provide the proper education that addresses their needs and improves their overall strength and function. Joseph believes that exercise is one of the most important factors in rehabilitation and is non-negotiable for optimal health. He has a particular interest in working with athletes, gym goers, powerlifters, and individuals experiencing low back pain. Having dealt with chronic low back and nerve pain since 2022 due to a herniated disc, Joseph understands firsthand the effects that pain can have on everyday life. Outside of the clinic, Joseph is a competitive powerlifter. He also enjoys playing the piano and hanging out with his bichon Snowball!
