Clinical Leadership & Background Expertise in China: Before relocating to the United States, Dr. Ding served as an Associate Chief Colorectal Surgeon and Pelvic Floor Center leader at Nanjing Municipal Hospital of Chinese Medicine, an affiliated teaching hospital of Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine. Her clinical work integrated conventional medicine, surgery, rehabilitation, acupuncture, and traditional Chinese medicine to address challenging functional disorders. U.S. Research Fellowships: Dr. Ding further expanded her expertise through research fellowships at the Minnesota Pelvic Floor Center and the Cleveland Clinic Digestive Disease Institute , where she participated in multidisciplinary research focused on pelvic floor dysfunction, gastrointestinal motility disorders, and functional bowel diseases. Academic & Regulatory Roles: Dr. Ding currently serves on the Acupuncture Advisory Council to the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice and is a Clinical Supervisor at Northwestern Health Sciences University. She is also Secretary-General of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies (WFCMS) Pelvic Floor Medicine Specialty Committee.
