I have lived in British Columbia for most of my life and I recently moved to Kaslo after practicing Physiotherapy in Squamish and Whistler for the last 16 years. During this time, I developed skills to complement my strong interest in treating mountain sport injuries. My main focus into my early twenties was gymnastics and I competed at a national level for eight years. This sparked my interest in biomechanics, and ultimately Physiotherapy as I spent a fair bit of time as a patient. I moved to New Zealand in 2002, attaining my Physiotherapy degree from Auckland University of Technology in 2006. Upon returning to Canada I have worked with a wide variety of athletes ranging from recreational to Olympians. I also thoroughly enjoy treating people of varying ages, activity levels, injuries and goals. Assisting patients to progress quickly and safely, while accomplishing their goals gives me a lot of job satisfaction. My treatment approach utilizes dry needling / IMS, manual therapy, and exercise prescription. I am hands on and committed to evidence-based practice. When not working I spend my free time skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, trail running, hiking, wing foiling, and surfing.
