Ariadne Ekaterini Speliotis, BA, LMT (she/they) is a Brooklyn-born artist, community organizer, and bodyworker whose work sits at the intersection of somatics, movement, and collective liberation. She began her training in bodywork in 2020 in marma therapy under Dr. Anisha Durve and reflexology under Elysia Bates. Those trainings set a foundation in understanding the body as a microcosm-macrocosm, which led her to pursue studies in massage therapy and acupuncture at Pacific College of Health and Science. She incorporates a number of modalities into her massage therapy sessions including trigger point therapy, myofascial release, perinatal massage, sports massage, shiatsu, tui na, Thai massage, marma therapy, and reflexology. Ariadne’s commitment to community and collective wellbeing sits at the center of her practice. She draws on her experiences in community advocacy to foster a collaborative dynamic between client and practitioner that encourages trust and possibility. In service of each client’s particular needs, she believes in taking a personalized approach that weaves distinct traditions and modalities into conversation. She understands embodiment as something worth fighting for. Her work is rooted in the belief that being present and at home in one’s body is its own form of freedom, and she is honored to support people in that journey.
