Alex holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia, specializing in Clinical Exercise Physiology, and a Master’s in Physiotherapy from the University of Lincoln in England. His clinical and sports performance experience ranges from stroke rehabilitation to working with adolescent figure skaters and professional rugby athletes. Alex approaches physiotherapy with a mix of compassion, collaboration, and a strong work ethic. Having personally sustained more injuries than he can count (name a joint—he’s likely hurt it), he understands the physical and emotional frustration of being unable to do what you love. That perspective fuels his commitment to not just getting clients back to function, but helping them thrive. Success in Alex’s academic, athletic, and professional life has always come through effort—and he brings that same dedication to his clients. He’s outcome-driven, and won’t let effort be the limiting factor in their progress. His practice is rooted in evidence-based strategies, teamwork, and a deep belief that everyone deserves access to movement that feels meaningful. Outside the clinic, Alex enjoys anything physical—cycling, alpine adventures, kayaking, climbing, and even surfing (though he’s still getting the hang of it). A former cook of eight years, he still loves making meals, playing piano, and getting regularly humbled by the weather, his athletic friends, or (of course) his girlfriend.
