Emily has worked in the field of physical therapy since 2003. She completed a diploma in Physical Therapy in Germany in 2006 and went on to achieve a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia in 2016. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and Health Sciences from UBC. Amongst her great interpersonal skills, Emily has excellent proficiency in diagnostic and assessment procedures as well as extensive experience in exercise prescription, manual therapy techniques, and Functional Dry Needling/ IMS. Emily brings a unique hands-on approach to physio and has comprehensive involvement in the assessment and treatment of sports injuries, osteoarthritis, and neck and back pain. She has a personal athletic background in competitive highland dance and currently enjoys activities such as hiking, kick boxing, yoga, swimming, and snowboarding.

Physiotherapy Initial Assessment, 60 minute

During this session you will go through a thorough assessment, in which the therapist will provide a physiotherapist diagnosis and go over your specific rehabilitation program. This session is limited to one injury, if you want the therapist to assess another injury you will have to make a separate appointment.
