My name is Gretchen Ramn. I am originally from Oklahoma (Go Sooners!), and have a B.S. in Anthropology from the University of Oklahoma. I have two beautiful ch ildren, two beautiful fat cats, and a beautiful Hungarian domestic partner. I enjoy skiing, biking around town, kayaking, gardening, hanging out with family and friends, dancing, making art, and looking at and appreciating the magnificence that we live in, here in Bend, OR. I decided that massage therapy was the right fit for me as a career, because I love helping people feel better, and massage therapy is the physical aspect of therapy. I got my certification in Massage Therapy at Central Oregon Community College in 2019 and now I am a licensed/insured massage therapist ready to use my skills. I really appreciate how massage therapy has finally been integrated into the healthcare profession arena. I am excited to get started on my career and love that there is so much that I can still learn about different types of massage.
I specialize in lengthening muscle and easing the pain that the bulk of bound muscle puts on nearby nerves. This upper body session focuses on the neck, lower, mid, and upper back. If you want a different kind of bodywork that will get results in lengthened muscle, more range of motion, and less nagging pains in your body, come see me. The deep tissue that I specialize in, is more medicinal and can leave some soreness. It is a very specific muscle group focused session. It is not a full body massage.
