Jean-Louis (Jlo) has been a practicing Massage Therapist since 2021, and is also currently part of the BC Lion's massage treatment team and a clinic instructor at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy. He takes interest in the treatment of sports related injuries and orthopedic conditions; particularly those involving the shoulders, low back, and foot/ankle complex. Jlo's hands on treatments use Swedish massage as base and will usually include active or passive range of motion, stretching, and joint mobilisations. His general approach to care involves using treatments as an entry point back into a painful movement or activity, and homecare to gradually build tolerance. The goal is to help patients stay engaged in meaningful activities throughout recovery.
