PT, FCAMPT, CGIMS PHYSIOTHERAPIST / OWNER Gilles graduated from McGill University with a B.Sc. in Physical Therapy in 2000 and has over 20 years of experience in private orthopedic practice. He completed his Diploma of Advanced Orthopedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy in 2007, and is a fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy. He is certified in the Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation needling technique, medical acupuncture with The Acupuncture Foundation of Canada, and trained in soft tissue release with the Grasten technique. In addition, he is a qualified mentor to physiotherapists in the Orthopedic Manual and Manipulative therapy program of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Over his 17 years as a physiotherapist, he has accumulated a vast experience in treating various complex musculoskeletal injuries and conditions in a wide range of patients including National level/Olympic athletes, weekend warriors and of course the seated office worker. Using a treatment approach of advanced hands-on manual therapy techniques, soft tissue releases, neural tissue mobilizations and specific home exercise programs, he helps to resolve the root cause of patient’s injury and pain.
