Danielle graduated from University of British Columbia with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy. She received her Bachelors of Science in Behavioural Neuroscience from Simon Fraser University where she was also a member of the SFU varsity volleyball team. Danielle’s desire to become a physiotherapist and passion about the human body stemmed from her own experience with sport and injuries as well as watching her teammates and other athletes that she coached go through similar experiences. Danielle has been involved in the health and wellness industry and coaching for many years working as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor helping people of all ages and abilities achieve health and wellness goals. She was also a team first aid trainer for the Burnaby Lakers Junior A. lacrosse team and has coached youth athletes through the Volleyball Canada Regional Excellence Program. Danielle is training through the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and will continue to pursue her Advanced Diploma of Manual and Manipulative therapy. She has also completed her certification of IMS/Dry Needling through Foundations Health Education. Danielle is sensitive to client’s individual challenges and is passionate about helping people reach their full potential. It allows the therapist to have more time to do a proper history, full assessment & for you to receive some treatment & possibly some exercises.
