Krista Bricker is a dedicated Family and All-Ages Nurse Practitioner with a strong commitment to improving access to high-quality healthcare for diverse populations. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing with Distinction from the University of Victoria in 2005 and completed her Master of Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner at Athabasca University in 2016. Krista began her healthcare career in the fast-paced environment of a busy trauma center emergency department, where she developed a deep appreciation for responsive, patient- centered care. Since becoming a Nurse Practitioner, she has delivered compassionate, evidence- based care in community clinics, hospitals, and through telemedicine. Her clinical interests include sexual health, menopause, mental health, and chronic pain management. Krista bases her practice in a holistic approach to health and wellness, strongly believing in the mind-body connection and the importance of addressing the whole person. She is particularly passionate about reducing barriers to quality care. A strong advocate for lifelong learning, Krista has earned certifications in addictions treatment, HIV prevention, ADHD management, and quality improvement in healthcare. She is currently preparing to sit for the Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP) exam in June 2025. When she’s not working, Krista enjoys hiking, skiing, visiting farmers markets, practicing yoga, and getting lost in a good book.
