Registered Physiotherapist & Owner Lana has been a registered physiotherapist in Ontario since 2013. Lana grew up in southern Ontario and earned a tennis scholarship to Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi Texas where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science. She then moved to Utah where she earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy Degree from The University of Utah, home to one of the top physiotherapy schools in the United States. Lana, along with her husband Oscar, moved to Collingwood in 2013. Together they have a dog, Suma and two children, Olivia and Oscar. When Oscar was only 4 months old, he was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder. It was at that time when Lana learned of the huge void in access to rehabilitation services for children north of Toronto. Lana’s clinical background includes vestibular therapy, concussion assessment and management as well as orthopedics. Lana has learned a lot about pediatric rehabilitation through her experiences with her son, Oscar. Lana is CME Level 1 certified (Simona DeMarchi).
