Dr. Rachelle was born and raised on Vancouver Island, BC. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology with a concentration in Neurobiology from the University of Victoria before completing her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine – Boucher Campus. Her clinical training included a variety of integrative healthcare settings, including the Family Naturopathic Clinic, Katzie Community Health Centre, and the Boucher Naturopathic Clinic. Dr. Rachelle has a clinical focus in women’s health, fertility, and reproductive medicine. She gained additional experience in fertility care through clinical observation alongside Reproductive Endocrinologists and Gynecologists at Olive Fertility Centre in Vancouver, BC, providing valuable insight into the assessment and management of patients undergoing fertility treatment. She also has experience supporting patients with PMOS, menstrual and ovulatory disorders, perimenopause and menopause management, metabolic health, and medical weight management. Dr. Rachelle takes an evidence-informed, patient-centred approach to care, combining a comprehensive medical assessment with appropriate diagnostic testing to develop individualized treatment plans. When clinically indicated, she incorporates specialized laboratory testing alongside conventional investigations to help guide clinical decision-making. Her treatment approach may include nutrition and lifestyle counselling, nutraceuticals, prescription medications where appropriate, injection therapies, intravenous (IV) therapy, and other evidence-informed integrative treatments. Dr. Rachelle is certified in intravenous (IV) therapy and holds prescriptive authority. Outside of clinical practice, Dr. Rachelle enjoys exploring the outdoors throughout the Okanagan, staying active through fitness classes, cooking, and spending time with friends, family, and her cat, Porkmeat.
