Dr. Wiest - Professional Biography Clinical Expertise and Credentials Dr. Wiest is a Doctor of Chiropractic who graduated as Valedictorian from Keiser University in 2023. He holds a Diplomate from the International Academy of Chiropractic Neurology and maintains board certification in acupuncture with specialized certification in electrodiagnostic medicine. Additionally, Dr. Wiest is certified in the Cox Technique for treatment of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine. Clinical Practice Dr. Wiest’s evidence-based practice encompasses multiple advanced therapeutic modalities, including diversified high-velocity, low-amplitude (HVLA) technique, shockwave therapy, transcutaneous magnetic stimulation (TMS) therapy, and the Cox Technique flexion-distraction method. His clinical training was further developed through an externship program at the Veterans Affairs Southeast Medical Region, where he collaborated with the Preventive Medicine and Rehabilitation teams. Military Service and Community Commitment With over ten years of service in the United States Army, Dr. Wiest currently serves in the Army Reserve. Throughout his military career, he has held diverse roles including field artillery medic, Engineering Officer for demolition and construction operations, and most recently, logistics commander supporting natural disaster relief and COVID-19 response efforts. This extensive background has deepened his commitment to underserved populations. Mission and Future Goals Dr. Wiest is actively developing a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing healthcare services to veterans, first responders, and healthcare workers. He remains passionate about community education and public speaking while pursuing additional professional development, including obtaining his pilot’s license.
