Roberta (Bobi) Slawson, RMT is a Registered Massage Therapist and a graduate of the 3000 hour B.C. program from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy. Roberta has brought together her passion for business and practice of massage therapy to co-found Pure Health Massage and Wellness. She is a recipient of the MTABC Student Case Study Award for her published case study, “Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Among Girls in the Juvenile Justice System”. Her past career in radio and broadcasting brought music and massage together with On-Site Massage backstage at numerous concerts over the last twenty years and even a few film sets. As a sub contractor she has worked with high level athletes and was honoured to be part of the medical support team for the 2012 Grey Cup winners, the BC Lions with Legacies Sports Massage. In 2012 Bobi taught Hot Stone Massage at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy for their Spa Program and did some assistant instructing for the RMT Program as well. Bobi uses a variety of techniques to help her clients achieve their wellness goals. Modalities include but are not limited to; Swedish Massage, Joint Mobilizations, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofacial Release, Visceral Massage, and Hot Stone Massage. Whether you have an acute injury, chronic pain or need to decompress with a relaxation massage, each session is customized to your specific needs.
