Stephanie Valley is a Registered Massage Therapist who is passionate about massage therapy and considers massage with home care exercises to be an important part of maintaining good health. Stephanie prefers to work slow and steady with a variety of techniques, massage techniques such as swedish, myofascial release, trigger point, stretching, manual lymphatic drainage and cupping to treat a variety of musculoskeletal conditions, prenatal, and more. Stephanie is committed to providing safe and effective health care in a positive environment for clients. Graduated from Sir Sandford Fleming College in Peterborough Ontario; 2 year massage therapy diploma program in 2016 and further advancements in 2018, Stephanie is continuous engaged to learn new skills and constantly continuing her education. Stephanie has also learned Craniosacral Therapy (Classes Level 1 and Level 2); Uplegder Institute , Visceral Manipulation (Classes Level 1 and Level 2); Barral Institute . Dolphin Neruostim (Classes Brain Healing Series: Level 1 - Concussions and Intro to MPS Pain Therapy); Dolphin Neurostim MPS . Stephanie has dedicated her career to learning more about the body and throughout the years in practice as a therapist, she has learned that everything is connected to the pain and tension that we are feeling. Emotional, mental, and physical discomfort in the past and current time is still affecting all of us physically. As an RMT, she is focused on the physical discomfort, but encourages client/patient to see other healthcare practitioners for the additional therapy/therapies to heal in other ways (if indicated for client/patient; physiotherapy, osteopath, acupuncturist, chiropractor, mental health practitioner, etc.). Her treatment is designed to provide clients with targeted, individual attention for their specific needs, to enrich their wellbeing and support in their healing.
